Area commercial manager for southern Europe appointed (08/05/2007)

BA World Cargo has announced the appointment of Camilo Garcia as area commercial manager for southern Europe, effective immediately.

Garcia will report to Keith McDonald, regional commercial manager for central, south and east Europe, and will be responsible for all commercial activity in the area.

He joined BA nine years ago as a business analyst, and has since worked on both the passenger and cargo sides of the business.

Garcia said: "This is an exciting time for BA World Cargo in southern Europe, particularly with the rise of our Madrid hub. I am especially pleased to be working within such a diverse geographical area and I look forward to building on BA World Cargo's achievements and reputation in the region."

Keith McDonald said: "Camilo brings a wealth of experience to this role, having previously managed our activities in Spain and the west Mediterranean. I am confident that BA World Cargo will continue to prosper in Southern Europe under his direction."
